Pathfinders is a community-based physical therapy workshop where youth build confidence and independence through real-world experiences. Participants practice riding the bus, crossing streets safely, navigating community spaces, and working together as they visit places like the library, bank, history museum, grocery store, and ice cream shop.
Each session combines movement, community safety, navigation, and team challenges to develop balance, endurance, coordination, problem-solving, communication, and everyday life skills. Led by a physical therapist, Pathfinders helps participants build the confidence to explore and actively participate in their community.
